KANGRA: One person was killed and two others were injured in two different road accidents at Tharu village falling under Nagrota Bagwan police station last evening, police said here today.

One person was killed and two others were injured in two different road accidents at Tharu village falling under Nagrota Bagwan police station last evening, police said here today.

Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Kawari, hit Prem chand, a resident of Tharu village at Tharu last evening leaving him seriously injured. The injured Prem Chand was rushed to Tanda Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case under section 279,337,304-A, IPC, against accused driver Pankaj Kumar.

Two youths identified as Rajneesh and Abhishek were injured in a road mishap when a scooter hit a motorcycle at Tharu last evening. Both injured were rushed to Tanda medical College. A case under section 279 and 337 IPC was registered against the accused driver. — OC
