Actor Taaha Shah Badusha was last seen in movies like Love Ka The End, Gippi and Barkha, and will be soon seen in Baar Baar Dekho. Like anyone in the showbiz, fitness is not a choice to be exercised but rather a requisite to exist in the business. However, for the young actor fitness is neither. “Fit is a mindset, it’s a persistent effort…everyday in everyway.”

Push-ups, pull-ups…

I enjoy waking up in the morning and working out. I always start off with a warm-up; most essential and crucial to avoid workout injuries. I then move on to stretching all my muscles and joints, and then start my workout. It consists of all body weight exercises such as handstand and pushups and pull-ups. When I do cardio, I dance and or train in taekwondo.

Gym? How boring!

I find gyms to be exceptionally boring. I withdrew from the whole idea about two years back. I feel there are other ways in which a sculpted physique can be achieved. I have now dedicated myself to the art of Calisthenics and Plyometrics.

First thing in the morning…

I have warm water; sometimes with a pinch of lemon. It is such a refreshing, cleansing feeling.

Seize the day

Sleep is by far the most important activity we do. We heal, we connect with our subconscious and most importantly we dream. I try to catch at least eight hours of sleep per day and I catch it at night. I’m most definitely a morning person. I like to see the rising sun. I love to sleep daily by 10.30. I just wish that was a possibility! Afternoon nap is a great idea. It rejuvenates your energy and keeps you alert for the remaining part of the day.

Sweets…let me describe

I don’t like to indulge in sweets at all. Not that I’m holding back. I just don’t like them. I sometimes have dark chocolates though.

Just get fit

Don’t think of getting fit. Don’t wait to magically become fit. There is no fairy godmother coming to grant you fitness and longevity. Get down and get it done.

Inspired by the best

Ronaldo and Messi, the footballers from Portugal and Argentina, respectively I also admire Jackie Chan for his agility.
