Two caught for murder, robbery

NEW DELHI:The Delhi Police has arrested two persons, Parveen (34) and his nephew Pankaj (22), both are residents of Swaroop Nagar, for robbery and murder.

The Delhi Police has arrested two persons, Parveen (34) and his nephew Pankaj (22), both are residents of Swaroop Nagar, for robbery and murder. Pankaj was involved in a murder of a rival gangster along with another accomplice. With their arrest one case of daylight murder, one case of armed robbery and three cases of motor vehicle theft have been solved, said a police official.

They had been involved in robbery where Rs 5.1 lakh had been looted at gunpoint from an Amul Milk Distributor on September 11.

On September 18, the police laid a trap at Ramlila ground near Raja Harishchandra Road and arrested the both.
