Three held for auto thefts

NEW DELHI:Two auto thieves and a scrap dealer have been arrested from Dwarka.

New Delhi, August 19

Two auto thieves and a scrap dealer have been arrested from Dwarka. The two used to steal vehicles and sell them as scrap in Mayapuri, said a police official.

They have stolen more than 40 motorcycles from free parking lots at various Metro stations in Dwarka.

The thieves were identified as Ajay Kumar (29) and Mohd Sahil (19). At their instance, scrap dealer Milap Singh has also been arrested on Friday.

Kumar was under heavy debt while Sahil had fetish for highpower engine motorcycles for easy money, said the DCP (Dwarka). — TNS
