Three fire incidents in a day

NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a shop in Bhajanpura Market. The call about the fire was received at 3.29 pm and 20 fire tenders reached the spot, where three floors of a commercial building in 500 sqm ground were gutted in fire.

A fire broke out at a shop in Bhajanpura Market. The call about the fire was received at 3.29 pm and 20 fire tenders reached the spot, where three floors of a commercial building in 500 sqm ground were gutted in fire. No casualty was reported, a senior officer of Delhi Fire Service said.

In the second incident, a residential building at Punjabi Bagh was gutted in fire after an electric meter fixed in the house caught fire due to which huge smoke was emitting from the house and five fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Four men and two women caught inside the building were safely rescued, said the official.

In third fire incident at Tikri village of Ram Park area, a godown was gutted in the fire. No casualty was reported as five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. — TNS
