The Delhi Police today sent a notice to Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Manish Sisodia, asking him to join the investigation in the case of alleged assault of Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in February, a police official said today.

Sisodia will be questioned at 11 am on Friday.

Sisodia was sent the notice today to join the probe, days after CM Arvind Kejriwal was questioned for over three hours in the matter, the official said.

Prakash was allegedly attacked during a meeting at Kejriwal’s official residence on February 19. Police said the CM was present when the alleged assault took place, along with his former advisor VK Jain and Sisodia.

The police have already questioned Jain, Kejriwal’s Private Secretary Bibhav Kumar, party volunteer Vivek Kumar and the 11 AAP MLAs present at the CM residence for the meeting. Two of them — Amantullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal — were arrested in the case.
