Delhi Police gets hi-tech mobile control room bus

NEW DELHI: The Mobile Control Room with all modern equipment was inducted into service in the Delhi Police today. The latest state-of-the-art Mobile Control Room has been fabricated on CNG chassis and equipped with all necessary wireless nets to provide communication in various districts, security, traffic as per the requirement in different parts of the city.

The Mobile Control Room with all modern equipment was inducted into service in the Delhi Police today.

The latest state-of-the-art Mobile Control Room has been fabricated on CNG chassis and equipped with all necessary wireless nets to provide communication in various districts, security, traffic as per the requirement in different parts of the city.

It is fitted with latest equipment such as Integrated Communication System (ICS), voice logger, wireless radio operator consoles, CCTV camera surveillance, UPS, DG set conference room, etc. The interior of the bus is designed to ensure eco-friendly environment.

It can be located at a strategic location on short notice to provide flawless communication, where the normal communication is not possible.

Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police, visited the Delhi Police Communication Headquarters at Shalimar Bagh and inspected the mobile bus. He said Mbile Coontrol Room plays very vital role during the important arrangements like the Republic Day, Independence Day, VIP and VVIP arrangements at Rajghat, Ramlila Ground, election arrangement and other emergency requirements.
