More aid pours in for families of martyred CRPF jawans

Financial assistance to the families of the CRPF soldiers, who lost their lives in the dastardly terror attack at Pulwama, continued to pour in with Mata Amritanandamayi, Sikkim Chief Minister and the Lions Club announcing donations of varying amounts. The Mata Amritanandamayi Math announced it will donate Rs 5 lakh each to the families while Sikkim CM Pawan Chamling announced Rs 3 lakh ex-gratia each to the families. A sum of Rs 1.29 crore was being sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for disbursement, the CMO office said in a statement. — TNS
