Man held in four firing cases

A 20-year-old man, allegedly involved in four cases of firing in Rohini, was arrested today, the police said. The accused, Yudhvir, alias Kalu Pandit, was arrested near Holambi Khurd and four countrymade pistols were seized from him.

The police said that on October 12, Yudhvir, along with his accomplice, had allegedly fired at Amit, a day after they had an argument with his friend, to scare him.

He had fired in the air to extort money from a provision store owner on October 14 and later, he fired again to scare a man, following a scuffle, they said.

On November 14, Yudhvir, following a dispute over valet parking, shot at Krishna Kundxu and in the incident one of the former's associates Ravinder was also injured, the police said.—TNS
