The BJP-Delhi has chalked out a strategy at party’s executive meet to explain the achievements of the Modi government to electorates in Delhi for 2019 parliamentary elections, sources said.

Workers on block-level will be imparted a special training to explain the five-year works of the government in all the seven parliamentary seats, which BJP had won in the last election.

As per the sources, the “Mahakumbh” of poorvanchalis to be held tomorrow is part of that strategy as they are in good numbers in the capital.

The meet also had extensive discussion on the ongoing sealing campaign in Delhi and said the house unanimously condemned the misuse of court orders and denounced the pick and choose method of sealing adopted by the Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee. Delhi BJP executive meeting resolved to strongly oppose the “irrational” sealing.

At several places in the capital, colossal illegal constructions have been done on government lands encroached by mafias. Unfortunately, the committee remains occupied in targeting small commercial establishments neglecting the massive structures raised on public lands, said Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari.

Tiwar added that the party would go to the court to inform the judges that on pretext of their instructions, a sealing racket is being run in Delhi by these mafias. Yet, the committee does not prioritise to take action on this.
