LG stresses on use of tech in trainings

NEW DELHI: At a law and order meeting chaired by LG Anil Baijal and attended by Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik and other senior officers of the force, Baijal directed police to stress on technology in all training programmes, including scientific investigation of crime.

At a law and order meeting chaired by LG Anil Baijal and attended by Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik and other senior officers of the force, Baijal directed police to stress on technology in all training programmes, including scientific investigation of crime.

He underlined the importance of communication skills especially for PCR units and public facilitation desks to improve public interface and make the services more people-friendly.

The LG also emphasised upon the need for increased professionalism within the police force.  — TNS
