New Delhi, April 6

Joint Secretary of AAP, Rupesh Kumar Mehra and his supporters joined the BJP in presence of its Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari.

The BJP leaders were happy over the development as the Scheduled Caste vote was a deciding factor on 35 seats of the Assembly constituency. Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said Mehra and his followers would bring all Scheduled Caste voters under the banner of the saffron party after defeating AAP and the Congress.

Addressing mediapersons, Mehra said the BJP government at the Centre was the need of the hour under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Modi was working 24 hours to get the party back in power, adding that the members of the Valmiki community would also work hard to get all seven parliamentary seats in BJP’s pocket. — TNS
