Jilted lover strangled woman to death

New Delhi, August 12

A married woman having a one-year-old son was strangled to death by her lover in Bhalaswa dairy area.

Yesterday, the police received a call that a woman has committed suicide, said the DCP.

During the initial investigation it was found that the woman was strangled to death and a case under Section 302 of the IPC was registered, the DCP said.

During investigation it was revealed that Ravi was in love with the woman. He proposed to her and asked her to leave her husband. When woman refused his proposal. he decided to kill her.

Yesterday, when woman's husband left for his job, Ravi entered the house and killed her. — TNS
