New Delhi, July 13
A jewellery shop was allegedly looted on Friday night by unidentified men in south Delhi's Govindpuri area, the police said.
They said four men came on two motorbikes and barged into the shop. They looted silver ornaments and cash worth Rs 1.5 lakh and fled.
The identity of the accused is being ascertained. The owner, Sandeep Verma, who was beaten up by the accused, said one of them was carrying a country-made pistol. The CCTV cameras installed inside the shop were not functional. However, the police have collected footage from the adjoining areas and identified some culprits. — TNS
