DMRC MD conferred with doctorate degree

The Managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Mangu Singh, has today been conferred with the degree of honorary doctorate by a university in recognition of his outstanding work and leadership in the field of Metro technology.

The Managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Mangu Singh, has today been conferred with the degree of honorary doctorate by a university in recognition of his outstanding work and leadership in the field of Metro technology.
The degree was conferred in a convocation ceremony  by Amity University at Noida. The university appreciated the inspirational leadership of Singh and commended his pioneering strategies which have been fundamental to the rapid growth and unprecedented success of the DMRC.
He has introduced new technologies and innovative methods of construction of the Metro tunnels and structures to achieve economy, safety, quality and speed of construction, a statement issued by the DMRC said.
