DTC offers free ride to women on Bhai Dooj

NEW DELHI: Women in the city will be able to travel for free in the buses of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) on the occasion of Bhai Dooj on October 21.

Women in the city will be able to travel for free in the buses of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) on the occasion of Bhai Dooj on October 21.  

According to the DTC, free ride will be provided in both AC and non-AC low floor buses in the Delhi-NCR region from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday.

The corporation provides free ride to women passengers on Bhai Dooj every year. It has also made sufficient arrangements to manage the rush of passengers on the day.

"Keeping in view the heavy rush of commuters on Bhai Dooj, adequate number of traffic supervisory staff will be deployed to help the commuters," an official of the DTC said. — PTI
