New Delhi, February 22

Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik was at LSR College for “Women Safety and Himmat Plus App” to culminate Delhi Police Week.

The CP appealed large scale use of Himmat Plus App, Sashakti and  QR vehicles by girl students.

The students joined hands with police stating ‘Change Starts Here; It starts With Me’ to promote the app and QR-coded public transport.

Over 800 students of LSR along with the women students of NIFT and Jijabai Polytechnic were present at the newly launched “Himmat Plus” App and “QR Coded” Public Transport programme.

The event was organised as a highlight function of the ongoing Delhi Police Week by its southern range.

Dr Suman Sharma, the Principal of the LSR College, said that it was incumbent upon all members of the society to popularise the massive efforts being undertaken by the Delhi Police to ensure a city safe for women.
