New Delhi, December 14

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today held an interactive session with a delegation of public policy students from Harvard Kennedy School.

“A hallmark of our governance has been that we have challenged several vested interests and mafias, especially in private electricity distribution, schools and hospitals, and ensured effective, affordable and quality service delivery to the residents of Delhi,” said the Chief Minister.

Terming the Delhi governance model the “most progressive” in the country, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the government is investing almost a quarter of its budget on education and close to 20 per cent on healthcare.

“We are investing state resources directly on the people,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.

The students were also informed about the initiatives taken in health and education by the government.

Advisor to the Education Minister, Atishi Marlena also addressed the students on the reforms the government has taken to improve schools in Delhi.
