NEW DELHI:Nabbing chain snatchers proved a dangerous attempt to a police official as he was attacked by the snatchers and threatened to kill, but luckily to his rescue some locals came and the accused were apprehended.

Nabbing chain snatchers proved a dangerous attempt to a police official as he was attacked by the snatchers and threatened to kill, but luckily to his rescue some locals came and the accused were apprehended.

The incident was reported from the Miyawali area on Monday evening when official Naveen Kumar was patrolling on his motorcycle at Peera Garhi Chowk and saw two men trying to rob a woman. Seeing which the official went and apprehended the accused.

The snatchers attacked him and started beating him. — TNS
