New Delhi, June 20

Led by national secretary Tarun Chugh, the BJP today staged a demonstration at the Trinamool Congress party office against “West Bengal government-sponsored violence against the party workers in the state”

Union Minister Babul Supriyo and senior party leaders Pravesh Verma, Ravinder Gupta, Jai Prakash, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Satender Singh  and Suman Prakash Sharma were among those who took part in the demonstration.

Chugh called it “regrettable” that leaders like Mamata Banerjee “take political advantage of Dalits and backward classes but atrocities are being inflected on the Dalits in her state only because these people are supporting the BJP”.

Verma said all BJP workers of Delhi have great respect for the workers who have become victims of the violence and have sacrificed themselves like Mehto in Bengal. — TNS
