New Delhi, October 12

Under the leadership of OBC morcha president Gaurav Khari, party workers had a protest demonstration from BJP’s central office and assembled at Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s residence demanding decrease of VAT at least Rs 5 on the price of petrol and diesel by the government.

The demonstrators also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Chief Minister for this purpose.

Addressing the protestors. Khari said that the Chief Minister and his deputy were in deep slumber and the workers of the OBC morcha had come here to gherao and awake them up.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi government at the Centre has already decreased the price of fuel by Rs 2.5 per litre for giving relief to the common man, but the Kejriwal government in Delhi, which came to power with massive mandate, was not concerned about the people of Delhi.

He said that the revenue of the Delhi government was far more than its expenditure yet the Delhi government is not decreasing VAT on fuel. — TNS
