The Alderman of the AAP in the North Delhi Municipal Corporation and AAP Trade Wing General Secretary, Vijender Yadav joined the BJP with his supporters, on Tuesday.

Welcoming the AAP Alderman to saffron party, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said the people who joined AAP for changing society were feeling suffocated and trying to find a way to leave it. He said with Yadav joining the BJP, the vote share for the party would increase in North West Delhi and the party would be able to win all Assembly seats.

On this occasion, North-West Delhi MP Hansraj Hans said Kejriwal betrayed his mentor and also violates the rights of the poor. “I am joining the BJP after being influenced by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Yadav.
