Both the BJP and the Congress today lashed out at the AAP government claiming the party under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has only “failed” people on every counts while rebel AAP MLA Kapil Mishra termed its three years tenure as nothing short of being a complete “governance failure”.

DPCC president Ajay Maken questioned the ruling party’s “vikas” rallies wondering the basis on which the government in the city is celebrating its tenure claiming “the Delhi has seen little development over the past three years”.

“Pollution has crossed the danger levels, kilometers of traffic jam, broken streets, people dying due to dengue and chikungunya, alarming conditions of hospitals, increased Metro fares and non-implementation of VI phase of the Metro, decreasing number of buses in DTC fleet, protesting safai karamcharis for their salaries, decreasing standard of education in Delhi, ruining traders and workers due to sealing, speaks about the three years story of development during the AAP party rule in Delhi,” Maken said addressing workers’ convention in 20 assembly constituencies of Delhi which are vacant due to cancellation of AAP party’s 20 MLAs membership of the assembly.

According to Maken, even a new brick has not been laid in the city by the Kejriwal government after they come to power and its ministers are taking pride in only cutting the ribbons of those schemes which were initiated by the Congress-ruled government in the national Capital.

The DPCC chief said the Congress workers should go door-to-door to tell the people about the “failures” of the AAP government and said people are ready to throw them away from the city. Maken also attacked the BJP stating Rahul Gandhi is the only leader who is fighting with Modi and RSS to “save the country from divisive forces”.

Kapil Mishra said the AAP’s rule is the biggest governance failure in the country’s history alleging around Rs 17,000-crore budget was neither utilised nor any tender processed even as the government had announced 49 development projects.
