Two workers of a wheat flour mill died after inhaling a toxic gas when they went to clean a tank in Keshav Puram, a police official said.

The deceased identified as Mobin Khan and Bilal Khan.

The fire department was alerted around 9.20 pm yesterday about the gas leakage and two fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Later, the police confirmed that the victims had entered a tank to clean it, adding that it was suspected that they died due to inhaling the poisonous gas. The two were rushed to Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, where they were declared brought dead. Police have started an investigation to find out the owner who had employed them. — TNS
