2-day colloquium on Mohiniyattam begins today

New Delhi, March 23

A treat for lovers of renowned dance form Mohiniyattam will be held in the capital for two days beginning tomorrow presented by gurus of all sampradayas from Kerala as well as regions from outside the state.

It will be inaugurated by renowned art historian Dr Kapila Vatsyayan.

The colloquium organised by Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi and Trikalaa Gurukulam, Delhi, on “Kaisiki Vriti: Manifestations in Mohiniyattam” at the Meghdoot theatre III, Rabindra Bhawan, will be a unique event with nine sessions by gurus who will be sharing the tradition they imbibed from their gurus and their approach in innovating and contributions in further enhancing the dance form. – TNS
