Patiala: To imbibe the purity of soul and assimilate the qualities of head and heart, BIPS celebrated International Day of Yoga. Various yoga asanas and importance of doing yoga regularly were explained to the students. Importance of keeping correct body postures, doing yoga and meditation and having a balanced diet was explained to the students by correlating it to real-life situations. Principal Indu Sharma appreciated the students for their participation. 

DAV Public School

DAV Public School, Patiala, observed International Day of Yoga. Staff and students participated in the event During this session, various asanas were practised. The programme concluded with the presentation of mementoes and certificates to Akanksha Garg and Rajandeep for their assistance.

Punjab Public School

International Day of Yoga was observed at Punjab Public School, Nabha. As many as 200 cadets of the Air, Naval and Army wing were part of the celebrations. They exhibited a variety of yoga postures. Yoga teacher Ramswaroop Dhingra threw light on the relevance of different postures in our life. OC
