Yashika helps Saupin’s beat GNPS cagers

Helped by Yashika’s 10 points, Saupin’s School, Sector 32, defeated Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), Sector 36, 17-10 in the ongoing inter-school basketball championship for U-14 girls here today. 

St. Anne’s School, Sector 32, registered a narrow 22-21 victory over Sacred Heart School, Sector 26. Kunjal starred in her team’s win, scoring 11 points.  

Vivek High School, Sector 38, humbled Gurukul Global School, Mani Majra, 19-4, with Anya scoring eight points for the winners. 

Meanwhile, Zaara scored 12 points as Strawberry Fields School, Sector 26, tamed St. Kabir School, Sector 26, 37-15.  

In the boy’s U-14 category, St. Joseph’s School, Sector 44, drubbed Ryan International School, Sector 49, 31-7. Samar alone contributed 12 points to the winning tally. 

St. John’s School, Sector 26, beat Chitkara International School, Sector 25, 17-2 after Stannes scored 10 points for the winners. Devansh shot 12 points to help Gurukul Global, Mani Majra, overwhelm Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, 29-14.

Arnav and Samandeep scored 14 points each as New Public School, Sector 18, outplayed Saupin’s School, Sector 32, 32-12.
