Yadavindra Public, Mohali

Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, organised a parent-teacher meeting of its junior wing. A blood donation camp and a book exhibition were also organised as part of the ongoing celebrations of the school’s 40th year of establishment. Several parents and staff donated blood on the occasion.

St Joseph’s, Chandigarh

St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, held a special orientation for parents. Various blocks held the orientation programme to ensure that the parents of the students of the junior, middle and senior classes were addressed separately. PPTs were shown wherein various aspects such as curriculum, scholastic, co-scholastic and discipline were covered. Other features such as rules and regulations to be followed were also highlighted. Principal Monica Chawla was also present on the occasion. 

Moti Ram, Chandigarh

An orientation programme was organised at Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary Model School, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh, for parents. Principal Seema Biji welcomed the parents and talked about the school vision, curriculum, system, teaching methodologies and co-scholastic activities. She laid stress on effective communication between parents and children. 

Mount Carmel, Mohali

An orientation programme for Classes KG, I and II was held at Mount Carmel School. The programme began with a welcome speech and introduction of class teachers by coordinator Vinita Blessen. A presentation on rules and regulations of the school and classrooms was also shown to the parents. 

Aanchal International, Chandigarh

Aanchal International School organised a spring camp for students. Various activities such as calligraphy, art and craft, yoga, cooking activities, outdoor games and Vedic maths under the guidance of teachers were held. The aim was to teach the students the skill of making decisions and make them self-confident. 

Manav Rachna, Mohali

Gurpartap of Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, won gold medal in open shooting championship in under-11 air pistol held at Olympia Shooting Square, Baltana, Zirakpur. Principal Taruna Vashisht congratulated the team for the achievement and commended the spirit of the young shooter.
