Mohali, July 15

The police have registered a case of rape against three persons, including a woman, here.

The victim, who is a resident of Moga, alleged that the accused exploited her physically on the pretext of providing her job. Those booked have been identified as Ram Bahadur, Suman and Vikas.

In her complaint to the police, the victim alleged that one of the accused, Suman from Chandigarh, with whom she came in contact for getting a job, asked her to come to Chandigarh. The victim alleged when she came to the ISBT in Sector 43 on Sunday, Suman told her that Vikas would pick her up and she would get a job of domestic help in his house.

She alleged that instead of Vikas, another person, Ram Bahadur, who was said to be an employee of Vikas, picked her up from the ISBT on his motorcycle. After roaming on roads for quite some time, Ram Bahadur took her in a house and raped her, alleged the victim, claiming that then she was dropped at a house in Mohali from where she informed the police about the incident.
