The INLD today released its party manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Panchkula.

To provide basic amenities in villages, colonies, apart from developing villages on a par with the city, would be his priority, said INLD candidate from Panchkula Karundeep Chaudhary.

While releasing the manifesto, the 29-year-old said leaders above 70 years should not be allowed to contest elections to pave the way for young leaders. He further accused both Chander Mohan and Gian Chand Gupta of neglecting Panchkula during their respective term as MLA.

“I will make Panchkula a pollution-free city, promote industries for employment generation, he said.

The manifesto also mentions special buses for girl students, better schools, cattle and stray dog-free city, upgrade of medical services at Civil Hospital, setting up of a university and solid waste management plant, plan to get rid of encroachment by street vendors, availability of insecticides and pesticides to farmers at low prices and addressing water and electricity issues.
