The local police have booked two persons for causing death due to negligence after two men died in separate accidents here.

The police said in the first case, an unidentified man rammed his car into Hardeep Singh, who was on his way to Baran village on Sirhind road. The victim died on the spot. 

In another case, the complainant Khagendra of Nepal, currently residing in Khandoli village, said an unidentified man rammed his scooter into his brother. The deceased has been identified as Lal Khatka. The accused fled from the spot after the accident. The police have registered cases under Sections 279 and 304-A of the IPC. — TNS
