Two held with illegal arms

AMBALA: The Ambala police have arrested two youths with illegal arms in separate cases in Ambala Cantonment.

The Ambala police have arrested two youths with illegal arms in separate cases in Ambala Cantonment.

In the first case, a youth was arrested near Prakash Halwai Chowk with a country-made pistol and four live rounds. The accused has been identified as Vicky Garg, a resident of Ambala City.

In the second case, a youth was held near the Housing Board with a country-made pistol .315 bore and a live round.

The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, a resident of New Luxmi Nagar, Jandli, here.

Cases have been registered against the suspects under Section 25 of the Arms act at the Ambala Cantonment police station.
