The Dhakoli police yesterday booked two persons on the charge of assault.
Complainant Harmanpal Singh, a resident of Sushma Green, Dhakoli, told the police on the night of February 17, accused Amit Kumar, who resides in the same locality, along with his accomplice Sachin, barged into his flat and beat him up.
He said the accused took him downstairs and assaulted him. They fled away after he raised an alarm, Harmanpal added.
On the complaint of Harmanpal, a case under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against Amit Kumar and Sachin at the Dhakoli police station.
