Twin titles for Anant

Chandigarh, August 10 

Anant Mehta of AASTHA Special School claimed the gold medal in the 25m butterfly competition during a swimming championship organised by Special Olympics Chandigarh at the Sector 23, here, on Friday. Mehta also won the 50m butterfly race. 

In the 25m freestyle (division M1) category, Hemant Gupta, Prabhroop Singh and Akshay Mathur claimed the top-three positions, respectively. Aryan Raj was fourth position, followed by Abhay Singh in fifth place.

Karan Sharma dominated the pool in the 50m freestyle (division M02) category. Manu Khanna bagged the silver, while Mehtab Singh claimed the bronze medal. — TNS
