Tricity traffic officials talk of coordination

Chandigarh, June 13 

To strengthen the traffic wings in the tricity, an inter-state coordination meeting was held at the Chandigarh Police headquarters in Sector 9 here on Wednesday.

Shashank Anand, SSP (Traffic and Security), UT, Tarun Rattan, SP (Traffic), Mohali, and Munish Sehgal, ACP (Traffic), Panchkula, along with other officers attended the meeting. The participants laid an emphasis on sending alerts to the neighbouring cities in case traffic congestion is witnessed in any part of the three cities, so that motorists can be asked to avoid a particular route. — TNS
