In yet another case of immigration fraud, the police have booked a travel agent for allegedly duping people on the pretext of sending them abroad.
The suspect has been identified as Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Dera Bassi.
The police said they got information about the suspect who was running his business from his office on the VIP road, Zirakpur, and that too without having any valid licence.
The police conducted a raid following a tip-off and arrested him today.
A case has been registered against the suspect under relevant sections of the Immigration Act at the Zirakpur police station.
