Ambala, November 22

Three persons sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out in a servant quarter in Ambala Cantonment late last night. The injured are Vidhan, Bablu and Manisha.

Deepak Chaudhary said his two brothers-in-law Bablu (30) and Vidhan (26), who work as labourers in Punjab, had reached Ambala to meet their sister Manisha (Deepak’s wife) last night. After dinner, they slept. Around 1 am, a fire broke out in the room in which Bablu, Vidhan and Manisha sustained burn injuries. It is being suspected that the fire broke out due to a hearth, which was kept inside the room. The victims were rushed to the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, where they are undergoing treatment. They sustained burn injuries on face, legs and hands. Their condition is stated to be out of danger. — TNS
