Three men create ruckus at Ambala Civil Hospital, held

AMBALA: Three men, who reached the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, in an inebriated condition to inquire about the health of a patient created ruckus at the hospital late last night.

Three men, who reached the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, in an inebriated condition to inquire about the health of a patient created ruckus at the hospital late last night.

The suspects have been identified as Ankit, Suresh and Prince, residents of Kardhan village.

According to information, Ankit reached the hospital with his two friends Suresh and Prince to inquire about the health of one of his relatives who is admitted to the Civil Hospital. Meanwhile, he got indulged in a spat with the hospital staff and also misbehaved with the guards at the general ward on the second floor.

They also damaged a windowpane and reportedly got indulged in a spat with the relatives of other patients there.

An on-duty guard said: “Several times people come to the hospital just to sit and pass their time as the hospital is centrally air-conditioned. They threaten to lodge a complaint against guards if they are asked to leave”.

Dr Satish Kumar, SMO of the Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment, said: “The matter has come to our notice. We have appealed the people to not to stay in the hospital unnecessarily and not to damage its property.”

Naresh Kumar, in-charge of the Regiment police post, said: “Three men reached the hospital to inquire about the health of a person. They were arrested and produced before a court, which sent them to judicial remand. They have been booked.”
