Chandigarh: A three-day golf camp for kids kicked off at the Chandigarh Golf Club on Friday. The camp is being held to introduce the game of golf to the kids aged between 6 and 16 years, the organisers said here. Kids will learn the fundamentals of the game, including hitting, chipping, putting in a safe, fun and stimulating environment, said the organisers. Instruction will be given at a pace intended to maintain the attention of participants and at the same time be appropriate for each individual's learning ability, the organisers added. Golf Club president Birinder Singh Gill  said camps like this were the best way to introduce children to the game. TNS
