Kharar: The CIA staff has recovered a stolen car belonging to Baljinder Singh, a resident of Ramgarh Daon village, and arrested three accused in this connection. The CIA staff in-charge, Inspector Tirlochan Singh, said an FIR regarding theft of the car was lodged by Baljinder at the Balongi police station on Tuesday. A police team under ASI Manohar Lal stopped a car at a nakka laid at Saharon village bus stand. On checking, they found that the car bearing registration No. PB65-AB-4320 was stolen. They arrested the three car occupants identified as Vinod Kumar of Desumarja village, Iqbal Singh of and Gurpreet Singh, both residents of Khanpur. During investigation, the accused revealed that they had parked the stolen car at Kiratpur Sahib. They were going to Meerut (UP) to sell the car on Wednesday, when they were caught by the police. They were produced in the Kharar court, which sent them to two days police remand. OC
