Three arrested under NDPS Act

The Kharar city police have arrested a girl among three youth, all belonging to Himachal Pradesh, following the recovery of intoxicating powder from them in two different cases. 

SI Surinder Singh had laid a nakka on the Landran road when he noticed that a boy and a girl coming from the bus stand. When they saw the police party, they tried to escape.

However, they were caught by the police and 14 gram of intoxicating powder was recovered from them. The police arrested Sandeep Sharma, a resident of Mandi and Amisha Sharma, a resident of Dharmshala. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against them.

ASI Harminder Singh had laid a nakka on the Chandigarh road when he noticed Ashish Kumar, a resident of Shimla, coming from Chandigarh.  During search, 20 gram of intoxicating powder was recovered from them. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him. — OC
