PML SD Public, Chandigarh

Shreya Chaudhary of Class VI and Yash Chaudhary of Class X brought laurels to PML SD Public School by clinching the gold and silver medal, respectively, in the Taekwondo Chandigarh Champions Cup. 

AKSIPS, Chandigarh

National Dengue Day was celebrated at AKSIPS, Sector 41-B, wherein students took a pledge to protect themselves and their community from vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria. Several preventive steps were shared with students to safeguard themselves from life-threatening diseases. An informative documentary was also shown to the students. 

Saint Soldier, Chandigarh

A two-day workshop, ‘Menstrual and Adolescence Health Programme’, was organised at Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh. The workshop was conducted by an NGO, SanjhJagori. Resource persons were Prof Iqbal Judge, Prof Neeraj Aggarwal, Prof Ashima Dhir and Sukrita. The aim was to enable children to nurture respect for the opposite gender and to liberate them from stereotypes. 

St Xavier’s, Mohali

A special assembly was held at St Xavier’s High School, Mohali, to honour the toppers of Class X (2018-19 batch). Chairman I William blessed and congratulated the students on their success. He addressed the students and encouraged them to work with dedication. TNS
