Technical, cultural competitions kick off annual fiesta at CCET-26

Annual campus fiesta, ‘Apratim 2017-The Phoenix Rises’, started at the Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Sector 26, Chandigarh, today with the aim of spreading awareness about women empowerment. The Tribune is the sponsor of the event.

Chief guest Anurag Agarwal, Home Secretary-cum-Secretary Technical Education, inaugurated the event in the presence of principal MS Gujral and other faculty members.

It was then graced by Sarswati Vandana followed by an address by the chief guest.

Agarwal appreciated the faculty and students for their hard work and innovative ways to organise this techno cultural fest and extended full support form Chandigarh Administration to provide a world-class infrastructure.

The inauguration ceremony concluded with bhangra. Various technical and cultural competitions, programming hackathon, solo singing, movie making, were organised.
