Chandigarh, March 20

Sandeep Pachar, a teacher from Government High School, Hallo Majra, was issued orders of repatriation on Wednesday. He was facing an inquiry allegedly for manhandling and misbehaving with a female teacher at the school.

He was on deputation from Haryana. The repatriation orders came after the recommendation of the District Education Officer, who had earlier marked an inquiry against Pachar. He had also misbehaved with senior officials when he was asked to give an explanation on the allegations.

The order released on Wednesday by Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Director, School Education, said: “JBT Sandeep Pachar, Government High School, Hallo Majra, is hereby repatriated to his parent state of Haryana on the administrative ground with immediate effect. This order is issued with the approval of the Education Secretary, Chandigarh Administration.”

According to inquiry, he had misbehaved with the female teacher on various occasions with mala fide intention. When he had misbehaved, the female teacher was in-charge of the school. During a meeting held at school, he had forced the female teacher to leave her seat and took over the seat himself.

Pachar fled the school after receiving the orders on Wednesday without informing the school authorities.
