Chandigarh, February 25

The condition of 20-year-old swine flu patient from Palsora turned critical on Sunday. The presence of swine flu in the densely populated pockets of the city had kept the UT Health Department on toes. Earlier, a 17-year- old boy from Ram Darbar was diagnosed to be suffering from Swine flu.

While the Health Department remained tight-lipped to share any further details of swine flu patient, sources said the patient’s condition turned critical in the morning. In the meantime, a Health Department team continue to camp in Palsora and making public announcements. The team is advising people not to visit densely populated area if they are suffering from flu-like symptoms. The department team also carried out the medical test of people who came in contact with the swine flu patient. — TNS
