Surjit Patar hails Hamdard’s poetry

CHANDIGARH: Surjit Patar, an eminent Punjabi writer and poet, who is the chairman of the Punjab Kala Parishad, was among a large number of people who visited the ongoing exhibition of the poetry collection by Punjab Information and Public Relations Deputy Director Dr Ajit Singh Hamdard, at Punjab Kala Bhawan in Sector 16 here today.

Surjit Patar, an eminent Punjabi writer and poet, who is the chairman of the Punjab Kala Parishad, was among a large number of people who visited the ongoing exhibition of the poetry collection by Punjab Information and Public Relations Deputy Director Dr Ajit Singh Hamdard, at Punjab Kala Bhawan in Sector 16 here today.

The three-day exhibition, which was inaugurated by the girl students on Saturday, will conclude on Monday evening.

After going through the poetic and pictorial work exhibited, Patar lauded the artistic initiative by Dr Hamdard and motivated him to carry on his work and contribute to the Punjabi literature.

Punjab Sahit Akademi president Dr Sarabjit Kaur Sohal also visited the exhibition and hailed Dr Hamdard’s poetry.

The exhibition focuses on the artistic work of Dr Hamdard, portraying different human relations through well-written poems and photographs.
