The mode of transportation in Zirakpur is either auto-rickshaws or the cab service by Uber and Ola. Imagine how helpless you’d feel when the cab driver calls to tell you that he would take about 20 minutes to reach your place while the auto driver doesn’t want to go beyond the border of the town. Mini vans and sharing of cabs and e-rickshaws should be introduced. CTU buses are needed at regular intervals.

Stop abuse of elderly
As per a recent report, the abuse of the elderly is the highest in Mangalore, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Amritsar. It was also reported that technology is leading to the isolation of the elderly. There is a need to understand that they are pillars of strength for any family. As they can never match the fast-paced life that we are living these days, we have no right to look down upon them because they are a source inspiration for us. A few months back, in April 2018, a shocking report came out, which suggested that in Japan, robots may have the role to look after the elderly in future. Robots can never be a substitute for humans. Meanwhile, old-age homes are sprawling in cities as more and more children are not willing to live with their parents. Shun this materialistic attitude and don’t let the technology destroy your happiness.
