STA tennis meet from Feb 24

CHANDIGARH: Sunrise Tennis Academy will organise Open Tennis Tournament from February 24 to 25 at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1.

Chandigarh: Sunrise Tennis Academy will organise Open Tennis Tournament from February 24 to 25 at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1. The championship will be conducted in men’s 30+  years category in both singles and doubles categories. A player born on or before December 31, 1988, will be eligible to participate in the championship. The interested players should confirm their entries at the tournament venue before February 23. The winners of the championship will be awarded with certificates.  

Cricket meet from Feb 15

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Women's Cricket Association will  organise State   Cricket  Women Tournament   for   KBS Dhillon  Trophy   from February 15 at Dev  Samaj  College,   Sector 45.  The interested teams can confirm their entries with the organisers before February 14 at the tournament venue. The championship will be played on knock-out basis.    

Taekwondo team wins medals  

Chandigarh: Taekwondo team of PML SD Public School, Sector 32, won medals in the 6th Tricity Taekwondo Championship, held at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan, Sector 44, on Monday. Ansha Pathania bagged the gold medal whereas Ashwin Kumar, Anupreet and Harsh Gautam bagged a silver medal each in the U-14 category. —TNS
