Manav Rachna, Mohali

Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, organised the third Tricity Inter-Academy Shooting Championship on its premises. As many as 100 shooters from various academies of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, and Patiala participated in 10-metre air rifle/air pistol events. Prizes, medals and certificates were awarded to the winners. Salvo Shooters Arena, Mohali, and Best Shooters Shooting Academy, Patiala, bagged the top honours.

Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh

The Interact Club of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, organised a workshop on cyber security for students of Classes IX and X. The resource person Vibhu Aggarwal gave information on various types of cyber crimes and cautioned the children against mistakes they committed while accessing internet. A quiz on cyber security was also conducted. 

Saint Soldier, Chandigarh

The new student council of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh, was given duties. Director Jagwinder Pal Singh Hayer handed over the school flag to the head boy Ajayvir Singh Grewal of Class XII, while Principal Vijaya Sidhu pinned a badge on head girl Riya Pundir of Class XII.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

The junior wing of Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22-D, Chandigarh, organised athletics meet for the students of Classes Nursery to II. The competitions comprised simple races for Nursery, frog race for Class I and lemon race to Class II. 

St Teresa, Panchkula

St Teresa Convent School, Sector 25, Panchkula, conducted a workshop on remodelled structure of assessment for teachers. Teachers were acquainted with the different parts of internal assessment, syllabus pattern for examination and preparation of a balanced question paper.
