St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-C, Chandigarh, organised an annual event — ‘ICSE science symposium-2018’. Gaurish Kodwani and Sanaa of Saupin's School, Panchkula, bagged the first position in best out of e-waste management. Saarisht Naveen and Khushi Kapoor of Strawberry Fields High School, Chandigarh, shone in scientricks (various scientific experiments based on tricks). Guramrit Singh and Ekamjot of St Xavier's won the brain buster quiz.

Shishu Niketan

Children's Day was celebrated in the junior wing of Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 43, Chandigarh, with enthusiasm. Students saw their own reflections on the stage in the form of their teachers who presented the thoughts, news, poems, speeches and the new word for the day.

Valley Public 

Valley Public School, Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula, organised a special assembly to mark Children's Day. Teachers presented a cultural programme and speeches to motivate the students to aim high. Director Col GC Mittal spoke on the life of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru.

Manav Rachna

Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, hosted its first sports day to celebrate Children's Day. Students showcased their skills in a variety of races. The day culminated with an award ceremony where all winners were given medals.

Gurukul Global 

Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh, celebrated Children's Day. A special assembly was organised which included prayers, bhajans, speeches, poetry recitation. This was followed by a group song and an enthralling dance performance by the teachers.

KB DAV

KG students of KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, presented a special assembly on Children's Day. They spoke about the importance of the day. This was followed by special song and dance performance.

Dikshant

On the occasion of Children’s Day, Dikshant International School organised a unique community programme for around 50 underprivileged children. They prepared a banner under the theme ‘Together we will build a beautiful world’. The event aimed at promoting inclusiveness in society. 

Mount Carmel

To mark Children's Day, a special assembly was conducted by teachers of Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur. Teachers enacted a classroom scene and also presented songs for students.

Shemford

Children's Day was celebrated at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, with enthusiasm. Little ones dressed up as princess and princesses presented a special programme. Activities such as creative writing, group discussions, speeches and poems were conducted on the occasion.

CRB Public School

CRB Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, organised various activities to mark Children's Day. Children played games, recited poems and sang songs.

Blue Bird

On the occasion of Children's Day, a felicitation ceremony was organised at Blue Bird High School, Panchkula. Aditya Nathan of Class X-A and Ishita of Class VII-B were decorated with Luminous Golden Badge by director Vebhu Bhatnagar. A special assembly was conducted by teachers. Later, balloons and refreshment were distributed among the students.

St Joseph’s

St Joseph's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, organised a sports day function to celebrate Children's Day. Students participated in caterpillar race, relay race and tug of war. Ranjit house emerged victorious, followed by Tagore and Raman houses.

Maharaja Jassa

Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Public School, Sector 27-D, Chandigarh, organised a carnival on its premises. Gidda, bhangra, baby show, mouth-watering eateries, shopping stalls, tattoo and mehndi art, etc, were main attractions of the day.
